Tutoring and Mentoring: We provide tutoring and mentoring services to help children overcome academic challenges and excel in their studies. Our dedicated volunteers offer individualized support to ensure that each child receives the attention and guidance they need to succeed.
Resource Provision: We supply schools and students with essential educational resources, such as books, stationery, and educational materials, to create conducive learning environments and enhance the educational experience.
Life Skills Training: In addition to academic support, we offer life skills training to equip children with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate life's challenges successfully. This includes workshops on leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
Community Engagement: We engage with parents, teachers, and community members to promote the importance of education and encourage a supportive environment for vulnerable children to thrive.
Through our holistic approach to educational support, the Centre for Care is empowering vulnerable children to break the cycle of poverty, achieve their academic goals, and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
Women and Children's rights advocacy
Centre for Care is a passionate advocate for the rights of women and children, striving to create a world where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and equality. Our advocacy efforts are rooted in a deep commitment to promoting social justice and empowering marginalized communities.
Our work in advocating for women and children's rights includes:
Legal Support and Awareness: We provide legal support and advocacy services to women and children who have experienced discrimination, violence, or exploitation. We empower them with knowledge of their rights and access to legal resources to seek justice and protection.
Policy Advocacy: We engage with policymakers and government officials to advocate for the implementation of policies and legislation that protect and promote the rights of women and children. We work to influence systemic change and address the root causes of gender inequality and child exploitation.
Community Education: We conduct awareness campaigns and educational workshops to raise awareness about women and children's rights, challenging harmful cultural norms and stereotypes. Through community engagement, we foster a culture of respect, equality, and empowerment.
Support Services: We provide support services, including counseling, shelter, and healthcare, to women and children who have experienced abuse, trafficking, or other forms of violence. We create safe spaces where survivors can heal, rebuild their lives, and reclaim their rights.
Empowerment Programs: We offer empowerment programs and skills training initiatives to women and children, equipping them with the tools and resources they need to achieve economic independence and social empowerment.
Through our advocacy efforts, the Centre for Care is working to create a society where women and children can live free from violence, discrimination, and oppression, and where their rights are upheld, respected, and protected.
Support and Strengthen Communities' Livelihoods
Centre for Care is dedicated to supporting and strengthening the livelihoods of vulnerable communities, empowering them to build sustainable futures and overcome economic challenges. Through our holistic approach, we address the diverse needs of communities facing poverty, unemployment, and other socioeconomic vulnerabilities.
Our work in supporting and strengthening vulnerable communities' livelihoods includes:

Microfinance and Financial Inclusion: We provide access to microfinance services and financial literacy training to help community members start or expand their own businesses, build assets, and achieve financial stability. By promoting financial inclusion, we empower individuals to take control of their economic futures.
Market Access and Value Chain Development: We facilitate market linkages and value chain development initiatives to connect producers with markets and enhance their competitiveness. Through strategic partnerships and networking, we create opportunities for community members to access larger markets and increase their income-generating potential.
Natural Resource Management: We promote sustainable natural resource management practices to enhance environmental sustainability and improve livelihood opportunities for communities dependent on natural resources. This includes initiatives such as conservation agriculture, forest management, and water resource management.
Community Empowerment and Participation: We engage with community members in participatory decision-making processes to identify their needs, priorities, and aspirations. By empowering communities to take ownership of their development initiatives, we foster sustainable change and resilience.
